How exciting! It is both an honour and a privilege to have been elected as your new Vice President. Those who have held this post before me will understand the mix of emotions – from feeling almost overwhelmed to the wonderful anticipation of all that is to come. And to anyone considering standing for this office in the future – it is the best feeling in the world!
I am now settling into my new role and there’s plenty to keep me busy.

Regional Lunches: I am responsible for ensuring that we have hosts for upcoming Regional Lunches and liaising with all the Clubs that have currently volunteered to host. Don’t be shy – if you want to host a lunch, please contact me, or catch me at a lunch near you this year! And if next year has already been filled – put your name down for the year after – the more, the merrier!
Marcasite Jewellery: I also manage the sales of our jewellery. Details are on the website, and a small stock will be available at each Regional Lunch. Remember, we can now accept card payments! If you have any ideas of small items you’d like to see on sale, please share with me.
Visits: My VP diary is now live on the website – I’d be delighted to attend new Members evenings, fun Club events – my goal is to connect with as many Members as possible — so please, invite me along!
Next year! My team and I will be busy with preparations for the year ahead. Now would be a great time to let me know if your Club has a significant anniversary coming up next year.
I’m excited to meet as many of you as possible, build new friendships, and experience the incredible spirit of Tangent — the best friendship club in the world!
